We understand that it can be a surprise when an unexpected charge appears on your bill.
So we’ve put together this support article to highlight common charges on a bill that are over and above the standard plan fee and phone repayment amount.
If you’re on a Red Plan, SIM Only, Data or Tablet Plan and you use all your plan’s included data we’ll automatically add 1GB data for $5 ($0.005/MB).
If you’re on a Red or SIM Only Modem Plan and you use all your plan’s included data we’ll automatically add 10GB data for $10 ($0.001/MB).

If you regularly go over your data allowance, consider changing to an Infinite Plan, SIM Only Infinite Plan, to use as much data as you want at speeds of up to 2Mbps, 10Mbps or 25Mbps, depending on your chosen plan. When you go over your international call minutes included in your plan, you’ll incur additional charges based on the call rates for standard international calls.

Some Add-ons automatically reoccur each month. Therefore the cost of the Add-on will appear on your bill.
Boosters expire at the end of your billing month and do not have recurring billing.
Premium services such as premium text messages and premium calls are charged in addition to your monthly bill.
If you’ve signed up or upgraded your existing service to a postpaid voice, postpaid mobile broadband or home wireless plan after 10 November 2020, your premium services are capped at $20 per billing month. This means your premium services will be barred until the next billing month. You can request a temporary unbar to your premium services through My Vodafone or by giving us a call on 1555 from your Vodafone mobile, or 1300 650 410 (standard call charges will apply). You can also place a temporary unbar by heading in store.
If you’ve signed up or upgraded to a postpaid voice or postpaid mobile broadband plan before 10 November 2020, there is no limit to premium services on your plan and standard charges will apply unless you decide to upgrade or change your plan.
Content purchases through Pay with Vodafone such as Netflix are charged in addition to your monthly bill.
Calls to 1223 & 1225 (Directory Assistance) and 123 (Ask Us Anything) are charged in addition to your monthly bill.
