Differences between plans and prepaid.

This support article will give you information about the key differences between our plans and prepaid services.

Application and activation
When you apply for a plan you’ll need to submit a credit check before we can approve your connection.
You'll need to provide accepted ID to activate your prepaid service.
Invoicing and payments You’ll receive a tax invoice each month. For more information, check out our support page on paying your bill.
Credit and inclusions are purchased in advance, so no invoice is issued. For information on payment methods for prepaid, check out our support page on recharging your prepaid service.
Changing your plan
If you’re on a Month to Month Red plan, you can change your plan once per billing cycle. For more information, check out our support page on changing your plan.
You can change your recharge option and value each time you recharge.
International roaming
You can use your plan in over 60 countries for just $5 extra per day. These countries may vary, check our current countries. If your plan isn’t eligible for $5 Roaming, or you’re visiting a country where $5 Roaming isn’t available, Pay As You Go roaming rates apply. T&C apply.
You can get  Prepaid Roaming Add-on on eligible recharges to get minutes, SMS and data to use in over 55 selected countries. If you’re on a Prepaid 365 Plus recharge, or have a My Credit balance, you can use our roaming rates.
Share your data
Eligible plans can pool their data into a sharing group of up 10 services, including a maximum of 5 phone plans.
Not available on prepaid.
Getting a device
With our Red plans, you can purchase a device outright or on a 12, 24 or 36 month Mobile Payment Plan.

Call diversions
You can divert calls to  voicemail or  another number.
